The machine mod. SLX C is a fully customizable continuous cutting machine for all types of fabrics, from roll to roll.

The cutting machine consists of an unwinding station, usually axial, on a pneumatic shaft (AIRBAR) with safety chucks, either motorized or free with a braking system that applies the ideal tension to the fabric for processing. The system may or may not be self-centering, depending on the quality of the fabric loaded into the machine.

The heart of the machine is the cutting system, composed of a series of cutters that continuously cut the fabric into as many strips as the number of cutters selected. The cutting type and number of cutters can be chosen with the help of COMTEX's TECHNICAL-SALES dept, who will recommend the best system for your fabric.

The available cutting systems are:

SLT C —-> Single chamber crush cutting
SLT C02 —-> Double chamber crush cutting (for thick fabrics)
SLT S —-> Scissor cutting

After cutting, the fabric can be wound onto a pneumatic shaft with pre-cut paper tube, in various ways, also carefully chosen based on the type of fabric to be processed:

Tangential winding on two rollers
Axial winding on a single axis
Axial winding on a double axis
