The tangential unwinder mod. SV TAN is the unwinding system with contact for big rolls that is positioned on the market as an equally valid alternative solution to the axial unwinder.

It consists of a tangential arm with a motorized drive roller, which rotates to set the big roll in motion. The pneumatically controlled tangential arm is the ideal system for stiff and poorly stretched fabrics.

Thanks to the wide opening of the tangential arm, the same unwinder can be used to unwind both small and big rolls, without having to make any mechanical modifications.

The composition of the tangential arm is completely configurable, depending on the needs of the fabric during the unwinding phase.

The tangential unwinder consists of a solid unit fixed to the floor and positioned at the entrance of new or existing machines of any size. A 0-10V signal relating to line speed is the only external input the system requires.

With the data relating to the various rolls to be unwound, the unwinding speed and the desired tension, our technical dept will be able to accurately size and configure your unwinder.
