The crush cutting mod. SLT C unit is the crush cutting unit that COMATEX usually mounts on fabric cutting and trimming machines.

Consisting of a knife holder complete with a ø100mm blade, the unit can also be easily adding to existing machines for cutting strips or trimmed fabric. COMATEX offers two cush cutting models to choose from based on the thickness of the fabric being cut: single-chamber, with a pressure of up to 65kg per blade and a maximum cutting speed of 300 m/min and double-chamber, with a pressure of up to 105kg per blade and a maximum cutting speed of 390 m/min.

Each blade assembly has a maximum overall width of 28mm, which allows the assembly to make a minimum cut of 30mm.

The cutting is performed by pressing the blade against a motorized, tempered roller. The rotation of the blade, tangent to the rotation of the tempered roller, creates a perfectly linear cut of the fabric without creating waste.

Horizontal positioning along the width of the fabric is extremely easy: in fact, it is possible to move each individual cutting group on a dovetail guide with a millimetric rod and fix it in position thanks to a manual handwheel.

In case of multi-cutting, it is possible to simply exclude only the cutting group(s) to be excluded, without having to move all the other groups.
