The DPK machine is a special machine designed for doubling knitted fabrics with automatic winding.
The structure in powder-coated carbon steel can accommodate plait or fabric roll. For rolls, a shaft is inserted inside the paper tube and put over the unwinding roller.
Before doubling, a series of spreading roller units de-curl the fabric's selvedges. A vertical doubling triangle folds the fabric in two, aligning it perfectly with the use of some centering systems available in the COMATEX catalog.
After being folded, the fabric is pulled and wound in various systems: tangential winding on two rollers or axial winding on a pneumatic shaft (AIRBAR).
The cutting and unloading of the fabric are manual.
The position of the control panel allows the operator to be in the best area during the plaiting phase.
The machine has the possibility of bypassing the doubling system, to be able to process open rolls to open rolls.
