The CENTR Z group is a motorized double-gripper fabric aligning and spreading unit with automatic alignment sensor.

The unit is mounted on a recirculating ball bearing guide with a holding brake that allows for manual positioning where desired. The guide has a graduated rod that allows for optimal positioning of the unit.

The fabric centering is automatic thanks to sensors that are integrated inside the unit while the edge detection is mechanical thanks to the continuous possibility of adjusting the contact force of the sensor lever and the pressure force of the two gripper rollers.

The unit is pneumatically driven, meaning it can be installed in environments where wet and damp fabrics are handled, eliminating the need for electrical power.

To function correctly, the CENTR Z centering device requires space before and after it and is usually mounted at the entrance of existing machinery.
